<title>2001-2002 Native Versus Transfer-In Graduates</title>

<summary type="text">2001-2002 Native Versus Transfer-In Graduates
Oakland Community College.  Office of Institutional Research
Graduate data from OCC's Student Information System, along with One-Tenth&#13;
Day data was used to determine graduates who transferred-in to OCC compared&#13;
to those who were native students. The term "native" comprised graduates who&#13;
did not transfer any credits from other institutions, but who earned all of their&#13;
credits at OCC. "Transfer-in" graduates consisted of OCC graduates who&#13;
transferred at least one credit from another institution to OCC, as indicated on&#13;
transcripts from other institutions. Self-reported transfer information was not&#13;
used this study.

This report analyzes the percentages of OCC Students identifying educational goals when registering for fall 2001 courses, the trends in educational goals, the trends in OCC Graduates who have transferred to a post-secondary institution, institutions where OCC Graduates were most likely to continue their education, Graduate satisfaction, non-returning Student satisfaction, and the number of post-secondary institutions that have formal articulation agreements with OCC.  Also included is the corresponding presentation to this report.
